This lively seaside resort is located in the south of the island. It is home to several small, gently sloping white sandy beaches which offer the best conditions for water sports such as pedal boats, jet-skiing and parasailing. Playa de Fañabé is one of the most lively places in the southern region of Tenerife. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for the quality of its water and the environment. Playa de las Américas is the most popular resort on the island and features a long promenade lined with bars, cafes and nightclubs. It offers great recreational opportunities as well as water sports on several beaches. It is the perfect place for an active holiday. Distance from the airport: 19 km.
San Miguel de Abona stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Montaña Colorada Natural Park. Its historic town is considered to be of cultural interest and is well worth a visit. La Gomera is the second smallest island in the Canary archipelago and has a delightful unspoilt landscape that will appeal to hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Transfer procedure (in the event of a package trip):
1st day: departure from Luxembourg with Luxair flight. Arrival at Tenerife South Airport. Welcome by the LuxairTours guide who will give you your travel documents and answer all your questions.
Transfer (about 30 minutes) to the port of Los Cristianos and loading of your luggage. Depending on the time of your arrival in Tenerife, possible free time before the ferry leaves for La Gomera.
Boat trip for about 50 minutes. Disembark at the port of San Sebastián in La Gomera and transfer (35 km, about 30 minutes through an impressive landscape) to the Hotel in Playa de Santiago.
Until the last day: stay at the hotel depending on the services chosen.
Last day: transfer from Hotel to the port of San Sebastián. Boarding for Tenerife. After arrival at the port of Los Cristianos, transfer to Tenerife South Airport and departure for Luxembourg. If you wish to extend your stay on Tenerife Island, transfer directly from the port to the hotel of your choice in Tenerife.

This boat trip departing from Playa de las Américas will take you to the cliffs of Acantilado de Los Gigantes and Masca Bay.
First you'll set off in search of pilot whales (also known as pilot dolphins) and dolphins, which you can observe in their natural habitat through the boat's underwater portholes. You will then sail along the south coast of the island to the spectacular cliffs of Acantilado de los Gigantes. Once you reach the bay of Masca, you can enjoy a swim in the calm waters of the bay and under the boat's artificial waterfall. A meal will also be served here.
Finally, on the way back to port, you can admire the magnificent views over the south of Tenerife.

This excursion will take you by ferry from Los Cristianos in the south of Tenerife to the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera. The second-smallest island in the archipelago boasts an extraordinary natural setting. You'll enjoy breathtaking scenery, characterised by rugged terrain, breathtaking cliffs plunging into the ocean, miles of signposted footpaths in the heart of immense unspoilt forests and typical little villages celebrating history and handicrafts.
Once you've arrived, you'll first pass the Church of Asunción and the Hermitage of San Sebastián. You will then continue on to the Mirador de las Carboneras, where you can stop to take photos of the valley and the town of Hermigua. The tour continues on to El Cedro, passing through part of the Garajonay National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will then descend through La Palmita before arriving in the small village of Rosas, where you will have lunch and watch a demonstration of La Gomera's famous whistling language. After lunch, continue on to Agulo and La Castellana, passing through Hemigua, a beautiful village nestling at the bottom of deep ravines. Finally, you will return to San Sebastián, where you will have free time to visit the last historic fortifications of Columbus.
