    Rota is located on the northern tip of the Bay of Cadiz. The hotel zone is close to the old town and its many historic sites, parks, restaurants, bars and shops, and the beaches in and around Rota are considered some of the most beautiful and cleanest in the whole of Spain.     Zahara de los Atunes is a picturesque coastal village on the Costa de la Luz in Andalusia, known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Originally a fishing village, famous for its freshly caught tuna, it attracts travellers looking for peace and quiet and an authentic Spanish experience. The Castillo de las Américas, a historic fortress with breathtaking views of the sea, is particularly worth seeing. Nature lovers can discover the nearby Breña Natural Park with its steep cliffs and lush forests. Festivals and cultural events are particularly popular in summer.     Isla Canela 

    This holiday resort is linked to the mainland by a wide jetty and is just 5 kilometres from Ayamonte, another typical Spanish village. Isla Canela also boasts fabulous beaches and is surrounded by a large nature reserve full of wildlife. Distance from the airport: approx. 80 km (the arrival airport is Faro in Portugal).

    • Stop by one of the many bodegas in the area to learn about the different stages of sherry production and to taste this local white wine. 
    • Try your hand at kitesurfing or windsurfing in Tarifa, a famous spot with a hippie atmosphere where many surf schools and rental shops have been set up. Its location at the southern end of the European continent means that it enjoys a strong wind all year round.
    • Take a trip to Tangier, Morocco, located just 14 kilometres from the Spanish coast. Dive into the oriental magic of this city by exploring its medina, museum of ancient artefacts, port, kasbah and bazaars that reflect authentic Arab culture.

    • Head to Seville to see the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. This building is the city’s main landmark and a World Heritage Site which is well worth a visit. 
    • Capture the beauty of the Costa de la Luz's heavenly beaches with your camera. The views look like something straight out of a postcard.  
    • Visit Jerez de la Frontera, starting with its charming old town before heading to the Alcázar de Jerez, the El Salvador Cathedral and the prestigious Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art – not forgetting a stop at a wine cellar!

    • Ronda is one of the most popular towns in the heart of the Andalusian mountains. Framed by peaks reaching 1,700 metres, Ronda is appreciated for its natural surroundings and its unique division into two parts separated by an impressive bridge, the Arena, which overlooks the Ronda Gorge. Like an eagle's nest, the former royal city overlooks the beautiful surrounding countryside. During the bus journey, you can stop off to enjoy the view of Zahara de la Sierra. In Ronda, there will be no official tour of the old town, but you can explore it as you wish. The guide will be happy to give you the best plans and advice.

    • This trip will take you to Seville, one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia and in Spain as a whole. Characterised by a mixture of styles that bear witness to its rich past, Seville boasts unique architecture and a cultural wealth that is truly captivating. Your guide will accompany you as you discover one of Seville's most beautiful squares, as well as the impressive Parque Maria Luisa, which was once the park of the San Telmo Palace. After this, you will have some free time to wander through the narrow streets of the city as you please. Your guide will remain on hand to give you any recommendations you may need, depending on your interests. The excursion will then continue with a guided tour of the city, including a visit to the world's largest Gothic cathedral and the Barrio Santa Cruz, an old Jewish quarter considered to be one of Seville's most picturesque areas.

    • Cádiz is the oldest city in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. After being founded by the Phoenicians more than 3,000 years ago, it went on to be shaped by the Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Visigoths, Arabs and Castilians. This excursion will enable you to discover the extraordinary remains of this rich and colourful history. 
      The journey to Cádiz from Chiclana takes around 30 minutes and will take you through the salt marshes located in the bay, which are great for bird-watching. You'll start the day with a guided tour of the old town. From the old market square, you will then walk to the new cathedral, the symbol of Cádiz, located in the heart of the old town. 
      Here, you can opt for an optional visit to the Torre Tavira observation tower and its dark chamber, the Camara Obscura. These observation towers made Cádiz famous across the world thank to their unique silhouette – the first thing travellers would see as they approached from the open sea.
      You can then plan the rest of the tour to suit your interests, as the guide will be on hand to give you the best advice. For example, you could choose to visit the cathedral, climb to the top of one of the two bell towers, discover the subterranean remains of ancient Cádiz, stroll through the flower and food markets or visit the archaeological museum.
      All in all, this trip will allow you to get to know the unique character of this city and admire the many buildings that hark back to its most prosperous era, when the seat of trade with America was transferred from Seville to Cádiz at the beginning of the 18th century.
