Halkidiki

Greece's secret paradise

Thessaloniki and Halkidiki are two adjoining regional districts of Central Macedonia, a region located in the north of mainland Greece. The Thessaloniki region boasts archaeological sites, stunning landscapes and other unmissable sights. The capital city of the same name is home to many architectural treasures and was named after Thessaloniké, the wife of Cassander of Macedonia.
The hotels in the LuxairTours selection are located in Halkidiki, around the Toronean Gulf. The region is made up of three peninsulas: Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos, which form Poseidon's trident. Since ancient times, the beautiful district of Halkidiki has been renowned for its fertile soil and diverse natural landscapes, with their bewitching mix of blue and green, from pine forests and towering mountains to beaches with sparkling blue waters..
